WHAT IS MINING?

Cryptocurrency mining is the process by which transactions are verified and added to the public ledger, known as the block chain, and also the means through which new coins are released. The more people that join the network, the stronger it gets. Anyone with access to the internet and suitable hardware can participate in mining.

To participate, a sha256 ASIC miner such as an Antminer S7 is required. CPU and GPU mining is just too slow to generate any rewards so we have created a pool that you can join.

 

MINING INSTRUCTIONS:

First, the Sparkle Coin wallet must be downloaded here.

Run the program and take note of your receive address.

Log into your miner and go to Miner Configuration Page.

Enter pool.sparklecoin.com:3333 for the URL.

Enter your wallet address for the worker.

Leave the password blank.

Click save and apply.

MINTING:

Minting will start on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 09:00:00 CET, with a maturity of a 30-day minimum and a 90-day maximum.

This means you will have to hold onto newly acquired Sparkle Coins for 30 days before minting is permitted and you have up to 90 days to mint using those coins.
